Dive Rarotonga 2013 – Cook Islands, Pacific Ocean

This was my first ever dive holiday and my first overseas trip! Borrowed camera and my first attempt at underwater photography. Water temperature on average was 29 degrees Celsius and yet I was comfortable in the only wet suit I owned – a Cressi Spring 5 mm. My fins were too large and since then I have accumulated a considerable wetsuit wardrobe (sadly a few too small now and will have to be sold).

The visibility here was fantastic – up to 60 metres of crystal clear water and why no doubt some of these photos are better than some of my more recent ones.
